2024 Fall Conference & Awards Ceremony

Join Mid-Eastern APCO for our annual Fall Conference & Awards Ceremony.  This year we'll again be in beautiful Ocean City, MD October 16-17, 2024 at the Grand Hotel.  Enjoy two days of excellent training, earn your CDE hours and honor your peers with the 2024 Awards Ceremony.  Training topics include Sex & Human Trafficking, Peer Support, Mental Health, Leadership and more! Opportunities to visit and tour the Ocean City Emergency Communications & Operations Center.   Registration and lodging are now open.

Rates:

• City View: $70/night
• Partial Ocean View: $82/night
• Direct Ocean Front: $104/night

Award recipents receive complimentary registration to the event.  Award recipents will be notified by the end of August.  This year the awards ceremony will be a luncheon on Thursday, October 17.  Guest passes are available for the Thursday Awards Luncheon for $25.  Regular event tickets include admission to the Wednesday evening networking mixer.  Info to come closer to the event!

Tours of the Ocean City Emergency Communications & Operations Center will be available on Wednesday, October 16 with a 1500hrs departure.  Sign ups will be a first-come, first-serve upon registration at the conference on Wednesday.  Transportation is not provided by Mid-Eastern APCO.

Update 8/12/24! - Mid-Eastern APCO was approved to offer a T-CPR (telecommunicator) course on Tuesday, October 15th as a Pre-Conference session.   This session will be FREE to conference attendees.  You must be registered for the regular conference to be elgible to attend the free pre-conference session.  This pre-conference class will be held 1pm-4pm in the Grand Hotel Ballroom in the 15th.  There is a seperate registration link for those wishing to sign up. 

Special for 2024!!  All chapter member front-line telecommunicators attending the full 2024 Mid-Eastern APCO Conference will be elgible to recieve a scholarship for the 2025 APCO International Conference & Expo in Baltimore!  Details will be made available prior to the conference.
